OTBADA Congratulates Old Town IKEA Winners

LANSING, Mich. (September 12, 2007) - The Old Town Business & Art Development Association (OTBADA) congratulates all of Old Town Lansing's supporters on a successful bid to win the IKEA "Small Businesses, Big Dreams" contest.

The contest offered a grand prize of $50,000 in IKEA designer help and furnishings - and a check for $5,000 - to be used to help transform the physical space of up to 10 businesses on the winning main street.

"We're just thrilled to hear the news," said Arlie Skory, treasurer of OTBADA. "Old Town works hard for all of its gains, and this will bring a real boost to some of our gems."

Terry Terry, OTBADA president, agreed. "This is a big day for Old Town. We're looking forward to seeing the results around the area - and we encourage the rest of the greater Lansing community to come out and see them, too.

"All our congratulations go to our colleagues across Old Town - and our thanks go to IKEA and all the people of Lansing who helped put Old Town over the top."
